Since the Association was created in 1973, it has been activated to provide protection to Texas policyholders of the insolvent member companies shown on the list below. It should be noted that this is the complete historical list of all such insolvent companies. For most of them, the Association fulfilled its obligations to policyholders many years ago. Only a few of these insolvencies remain active today.
The state of domicile and year of the Association’s activation for each insolvency is shown in parentheses.
